U.S. Blocks Abortion at G7 and
Organization of American States
It has been a remarkable few days in the quiet and carpeted negotiating rooms at the G7 meeting of the world’s industrial powers, and the Organization of American States. In both instances, the Trump administration fought back against the abortion lobby and won. Hardly anyone covers these types of meetings, but C-Fam does. Rebecca Oas, Ph.D. reports on our win at the G7, and Susan Yoshihara, Ph.D. reports on the OAS.
We have two really terrific posts at our blog, Turtle Bay and Beyond.
Stefano Gennarini reports on yet another negotiation at the UN where abortion proponents are attempting to put abortion into humanitarian assistance. The Trump administration is holding firm, so far, that this will not happen.
Rebecca Oas, Ph.D. reports on an interesting exchange at The Guardian of the UK, what she calls « pragmatism meets magical thinking. »
You will not read these stories anywhere else. If you appreciate that we are here reporting every week AND working with delegations to advance the pro-life cause, support our work right now at www.c-fam.org/donate.
