I need to share with you some critical developments that have been unfolding in Congress over the past week.
Pro-lifers in the House are trying to add a full Planned Parenthood defund to a “must-pass” spending bill to fund the federal government for the next two years.
And Congress has until next Friday, March 23rd, to pass the spending bill to avoid a so-called shutdown of the federal government.
Pro-life members in the House are negotiating to add several pro-life measures to their version of the bill, including:
- Ending Planned Parenthood’s Medicaid funding and their Title X family planning funds (over $500 million a year).
- Preventing taxpayer-subsidized Obamacare plans from paying for abortions.
- Providing critical protections for health care workers who refuse to participate in abortions.
The U.S. Senate’s version of this legislation DOES NOT include these measures, so it’s imperative the House knows it has your backing so it stands strong when negotiating with the Senate to include these protections for the preborn in any final bill.
If pro-lifers don’t maintain a majority in Congress this November (a very real possibility), this could be one of our last chances to end the forced taxpayer funding of the abortion giant.
Every day Congress delays, Planned Parenthood receives over $1.5 million from taxpayers to keep its doors open and take the lives of another 880 preborn children.
olivier, here’s what you need to do right now: call your representative and tell him or her that any legislation that moves forward to fund the government must include these pro-life protections.

Please don’t delay – innocent lives are at stake.
It’s time that the pro-life majority in Congress make good on their pro-life promises that got them elected in 2016.
