Students for life:I wanted to start off by saying sorry!

I wanted to start off by saying sorry!

Yesterday I wrote you a very long email outlining what we accomplished in 2017 thanks to your help, and what we’re planning for 2018 if we can continue to count on your support.

If you haven’t yet done so, could you set aside a few minutes to read it? I’ve included it below.

After you read it, please renew your support for Students for Life for 2018 with a generous tax-deductible gift today.

Dear Olivier,

Planned Parenthood and their pro-abortion allies know they can’t win the debate over abortion, so they’re doing everything possible to silence our Students for Life groups.

We’ve had signs stolen, displays destroyed, and just this month one of our 15-year-old high school pro-life leaders was punched in the face while peacefully praying and sidewalk counseling outside of a Planned Parenthood facility in Virginia.

But Olivier, I’m afraid this could be just the tip of the iceberg for what’s in store for us in 2018.

That’s why I’m counting on you to please renew your support for Students for Life for 2018 with your most generous tax-deductible year-end contribution right away.

Before I share with you what I have planned for the coming months, I wanted to show you what your support has helped us accomplish in 2017. With your help, Students for Life:

*** Started 150 Students for Life groups helping us reach 1,150 overall, and conducting over 700 trainings to equip new leaders for Life with the knowledge they need to help us lead the battle to end abortion.

*** Attended 56 Music Festivals through Rock for Life – including both Christian festivals and the completely secular Vans “Warped Tour” – which helped us reach a total of 1.5 million young men and women for the pro-life cause!

*** Launched our massive #SockIt2PP National Tour, where we gathered 328,348 socks – each representing a little boy or girl Planned Parenthood puts to death every year.  This stunning visual display sent jaws dropping everywhere we took them – from our unveiling at a Washington, D.C. press conference to our stops at key U.S. Senators’ offices.

*** Launched the Abortion is Violence Fall tour, where we showed students the instruments abortionists use to take preborn life along with a jumbotron video where a former abortionist turned pro-life explains how abortions are performed using animated videos.

*** Saved the lives of 34 little boys and girls through our “Pregnant on Campus” Initiative, where we show pregnant and new moms they don’t have to choose between staying in school and keeping their children, as Planned Parenthood would have them believe.

Our efforts are all big reasons why polls show the majority of young people – the very demographic Planned Parenthood depends on for its bloody business – think abortion should be illegal in all or most cases.  And that has Planned Parenthood as nervous as ever.

They know – no matter what happens in the political day-to-day in Washington, D.C. – if they lose the culture to pro-lifers, they’ll be history.

That’s why we’re running into attack after attack at virtually every college campus we visit!

You see, politicians and the courts have only rarely sought to stand in the way of broad cultural trends like the one you’re helping Students for Life build brick-by-brick.

With your help, I have even bigger plans for 2018, if I can count on your renewed support for 2018.

Of course, we’ll continue our top-notch leadership trainings.  We’ll continue to battle Planned Parenthood with everything we have.  We’ll continue saving lives by growing our “Pregnant on Campus” programs, which are proven to save precious lives.

But in addition to these programs, we’re also hoping to:

1) Reach 1,300 Students for Life groups by the end of the Spring semester.  These campus chapters are invaluable to helping us reach new young people for the pro-life cause, which is why pro-abortion students, faculty and administrators are going all out to stop our ability to speak out for life.

But the more they try to muzzle our message, the stronger we become.  Their goal is to intimidate us into shutting up.  But you can rest assured their schemes won’t work!

2) Double the number of Student Mobilizations we launched in 2017.  Our goal is to ensure that any time Planned Parenthood makes a move anywhere in the country – whether that’s working to ram through some pro-abortion state law or even launching a pro-abortion Sex Ed course in a local Middle School – we’re there to counter them with signs, protests and an organized pro-life voice.

These local mobilizations will help gain media exposure, bring new people into the pro-life movement, further our goal of taking back our culture and help us build a grassroots army that’s ready to ban abortions at the state level once Roe v. Wade is wiped off the books!

3) Launch a massive Digital Outreach Expansion to ensure we’re able to stand toe-to-toe with Planned Parenthood’s online presence.  As you may know, Students for Life already has a massive social media presence (if you haven’t, please “like” us on Facebook!).  But Planned Parenthood has literally spent millions to get where they are today.

With our access to thousands of young, committed and tech-savvy pro-lifers, we believe we can counter them for a fraction of the cost – and reach millions of new young people in the process!

Of course, all of this will take critical resources.  What we can accomplish – and the lives we can save – is limited only by what we can raise.

Unlike the butchers at Planned Parenthood, Students for Life doesn’t receive a dime in taxpayer money.  100% of our support comes from the voluntary gifts of pro-lifers like you.

That means I must ask you to please give as generously as you can as 2017 comes to a close.

As always, every dollar you can give is 100% tax-deductible.  But to count for the 2017 tax year, you must submit your contribution before midnight on December 31st.

So will you please agree to a generous tax-deductible contribution of $500, $250, or $100 right away to renew your support for 2018?

I know that’s a lot to ask for, especially during this holiday season. But would you at least consider renewing your support for Students for Life for 2018 with a contribution of $50, $25, or even $10 today?

For Life,

Kristan Hawkins
President, Students for Life of America

P.S.- 2017 was such a tremendous year for Students for Life.  But I’ve laid some very ambitious plans, and I need your financial support to help make them a reality
