I know you’ve heard a lot from me lately, but I had to write to you this afternoon. I returned home at 5:30am this morning from my last stop on my fall “Lies Feminists Tell” speaking tour in California and found out that you made it happen.
706 of you generously donated to our #GivingTuesday campaign and together raised $64,782.75, meaning we met our $60,000 matching grant!
Truly, I can’t thank you enough for all of the lives you are going to allow us to save, the student leaders you are going to allow us to inspire and train, and the campuses you are going to allow us to transform.
As you know, we are up against a lot these days.
But I want you to have hope…because every day more than 1,100 Students for Life groups are on campuses speaking the truth with love. They are there meeting the needs of scared, pregnant women on campus and changing hearts and minds.
I saw this hope first-hand last night when I met the student leaders of the University of California-Irvine Students for Life group who had tabled on campus earlier in the day with our “Abortion is Violence” tour and were on fire by the time I arrived for my speech. I saw this hope again when, after I spoke, a young woman at Azusa Pacific University came up to me to say she is going to start the first-ever Students for Life group on her notoriously-liberal campus.
Thank you for what you are allowing to happen on campuses across this nation. Thank you for helping us push harder to accomplish our mission of abolishing abortion in our nation.
President, Students for Life
P.S. – Below is a short video from some of the stops on my recent speaking tour. I pray you will find hope in knowing that campuses like UC-Berekley, Princeton, Harvard, and Dartmouth had the light of truth shined on them this fall.
